All the pieces have been poured, stacked, and are ready to build. Much like the ruble left from the explosion, these pieces sit randomly stacked in a yard of concrete slabs.
The Beirut Peacekeeper Memorial Tower is ready to go up. It will stand as a testament to the events in Beirut and the lives who lived and perished there from 1982-1984. Each piece of the tower weighs approximately 20,000 pounds. A crane will lift and set each piece in place and rebuild in architecture a symbol of freedom, hope, and purpose.
